The driver of the pickup, 70 year old Terry Barnett, and passenger, 33 year old Nicholas Barnett suffered fatal injuries and declared dead at the scene. The driver of the SUV was transported to Logan Regional Hospital with non life threatening injuries.

Both east and westbound traffic on SR-30 were completely shut off for an extended period of time.
