Fatal accident in Iron County

IRON COUNTY, Utah (ABC 4 News) A traffic accident in southern Utah ended tragically on Monday.
A Toyota sedan was traveling northbound on State Highway 18 between St. George and Enterprise. At about 5:05 p.m. the sedan made a left turn in front of a pickup truck pulling a flatbed trailer that was traveling southbound.
The truck did not stop in time and hit the sedan. Both vehicles slid off the road, hitting a fence and tree.
The driver of the sedan was declared dead at the scene. The driver of the pickup truck was treated for minor injuries and released at the scene.
Utah Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
