SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - The FBI says one of their 10 Most Wanted fugitives could be "blending into" a Mormon community.

43-year-old Jason Derek Brown is accused of shooting and killing armored truck driver Robert Keith Palomares on Nov. 29, 2004 outside a Phoenix movie theater.

The FBI says Brown stole $56,000 after shooting Plomares, making his getaway on a bicycle before getting into his BMW parked nearby.

The FBI says Brown speaks French, has a master's degree in international business and has ties to California, Arizona and Utah.

According to ABC News, Brown's familiarity with the Mormon church could be helping him avoid detection by authorities while using an alias.

The FBI says Brown once lived in Salt Lake City and served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in France.

ABC News reports that the last confirmed sighting of Brown was in Salt Lake City in August 2008 when a friend saw him at a stoplight.

The FBI says Brown is considered armed and extremely dangerous.

A reward of up to $100,000 for information leading directly to his arrest was offered by the FBI.

A reward of "up to" any amount could also be as little as zero. That ambiguous statement contains more loopholes than a crocheted table cloth.
