Also Used: 8" round paper mache hat box, Tombow Mono Adhesive, hot glue gun, sewing machine & thread.
Instructions:
1.Cut 8 - 7/8" x 12" strips of planks paper. Glue two together to make 4 - 7/8" x 23 1/2" strips. (My strips hat box is 4" tall. I cut the strips to 7/8" x 23 1/2" so there is plenty of room to weave them).
2.Cut 5 - 1" x 6" strips of Fair, Vines, Border, Flannel and Token paper (25 total).
3.Cut 2 - 3" x 12" and 2 - 1 1/4" x 12" pieces and adhere together to make 1 - 3" x 23 1/2" and 1 - 1 1/4" x 23 1/2" strip.
4.Fold edges of 3" x 24" strip in 1/2" on both sides to form a 2" x 23 1/2" strip. Adhere 1 1/4" x 23 1/2" strip in center and sew along edge to create handle.
5.Put adhesive on first inch of one 7/8" x 12" strip and adhere along bottom of basket. And begin to weave moving to the right. Using Tombow Mono Adhesive, adhere to basket as you go.
6.Adhere handle to basket, making sure it is on straight.
7.Using hot glue, adhere burlap trim along top of basket (this way you do not need to use grass).
8.Cut 2 - 1 1/2" x 12" strip of flannel paper. Adhere together to form a 1 1/2" x 23 1/2" strip and fold accordion style.

Also Used: 8" round paper mache hat box, Tombow Mono Adhesive, scallop border punch, hot glue gun, sewing machine & thread, white paint and water bottle.
Instructions:
1.Paint basket (paper mache hat box without lid) with white paint and let dry.
2.Cut 2 - 2" x 12" strips of Woodgrain, Bloom, Textile, Dotted and Tapestry paper (10 strips total).
3.Adhere both strips of each pattern together to make 1 - 2" x 23 1/2" strips.
4.Using Tombow Mono Adhesive adhere Woodgrain paper (stripes out) to bottom of basket.
5.Punch scallops using border punch on all four remaining strips. Cut up each scallop (if you are going to curl them) leaving a 1/2" border on the top.
6.Adhere scallops 1/2" up from bottom of basket in desired order.
7.Using hot glue, adhere crochet trim along top of basket (this way you do not need to use grass).
8.Create handle as instructed in steps 3 & 4 of previous basket using Damask paper.
9.Wrap twine around top of basket and tie a bow on the side.
10.Create three rolled flowers:
a. Cut 1 - 1" x 18", 1 - 1 1/2" x 18" and 1 - 2" x 18" strips from Textile, Woodgrain and Bloom papers.
b. Lightly spray each strip with water bottle.
c. Twist and roll trim into a flower shape.

11. Fill basket and ENJOY!
