PARK CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) A rollover early Sunday morning took the life of one man in Summit County. The accident occurred at about 1:45 a.m. on State Road 224 near Silver Springs Drive.

The driver of a Volkswagen Passat lost control approaching a curve. Police say the driver may have been moving too fast when he went off the road and into the dirt. The car went up an embankment and rolled on the side of the road.

38 year old Paul Velo from Salt Lake City was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say he was not wearing his seat belt at the time of the crash and was ejected from the vehicle. The investigation is ongoing, but police suspect that speed and DUI were likely factors in the fatal crash.
