RICHFIELD, Utah (AP) - Authorities say they have made significant progress on a wildfire in south-central Utah and expect containment soon.
Central Utah Interagency Fire officials say the fire has burned 1,537 acres around Bull Claim Hill just east of Richfield. It is 90 percent contained.
Full containment is expected by Thursday evening. Isolated hot spots remain.
The fire remains under investigation although authorities believe it was human-caused.
Fire officials say a red-flag warning remains in effect through 11 p.m. Saturday because of high winds and low humidity.
Fire danger remains extremely high throughout the state.
