Teerevor - your comment is stupid. All the things you list are already being paid for by taxes and Salt Lake County residents. I pay sewage fees; pay for water usage; our roads are paid for by federal funds and a huge tax at the pump. Citizens get upset over tax increases because our local and federal government bleed money. Our elected officials cut the jobs from the lower rungs of the latter but never cut the spending on their own salaries.

You can't seriously complain about an extra $64/year. Sad because it's going to take away from your entertainment budget? Can't eat out a few more times? Can't afford the gas for a couple fill ups? $64 is nothing. I'm tired of the cuts to programs. There were a few that would have helped me through school, but they kept cutting everything I was eligible for. Time for other people to take a sacrifice even though it's not a big one. Quit complaining about taxes. You use public roads to get to places, right? How about we make you pay for that just to start. We could go into the water you use, the stuff you flush down the toilet, the education for kids....

What a bunch of $h1T! Seventeen-and-a-half here, $6 there, another big chunk for Taylorsville. My property taxes are going up more than 50% from last year to this. Isn't there something we can do?!?!?!?!?!?
