ALPINE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - U.S. Representative Jason Chaffetz's home in Alpine was burglarized over the weekend.

Lone Peak Police say officers were alerted to the break-in on Sunday afternoon after a neighbor discovered a broken glass door at the home.

Police say the Chaffetz family was out of town for the weekend, and that the friend visited their home to check on a family's pets.

Police say investigators found that entry was made into the home, and that that some electronics were missing. Police say other items were also stolen, but declined from listing them specifically.

Police say investigators were following some leads, but did not name any suspect or suspects in the case.
