SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Charges were filed Friday against a man who led police on a four and a half hour standoff Sunday, Sept. 23rd.

David Charles Baker, 47, also known as the Sequin Suspect, was charged Friday with three counts of possession of a firearm by a restricted person, failure to stop or respond at command of police, two counts of possession of a controlled substance, aggravated assault, attempted theft by extortion and mail theft.

Baker was eventually talked out of his home and taken into custody after a standoff with SWAT.

Police were led to believe two boxes placed near a Mt. Olympus were explosive. It was later found the boxes were full of pornography.
