Charges filed In fatal West Valley City shooting

WEST VALLEY CITY, UT (ABC 4 News) - West Valley Police have confirmed an arrest in the case of a fatal shooting that took place September 13th.
The shooting took place at 3700 South 6800 West in West Valley City. West Valley Police issued a statement that the incident that ended in the death of James Micheal George began as a verbal argument.
The argument took place between George and his 16 year-old stepson Rosco Dewayne Brackett.
During the argument, Brackett walked away and retrieved a handgun. Upon returning with the gun, Brackett fired multiple shots. George was struck numerous time, at least once in the head. Several individual heard the shots but did not witness anything.
Rosco Dewayne Brackett was arrested on a warrant issued by the Third District Court and has been booked at the Salt Lake County Jail.
