HOLLADAY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - The Utah Highway patrol says a driver caused a terrible crash on I-215 and 6400 South in Holladay Tuesday morning.

According to UHP, early Tuesday morning an Audi was going too fast in the southbound lanes when it hit the medium wall. The driver was ejected in to the northbound lane.

The 41-year-old Sandy man was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

Troopers blame speeding and alcohol for the accident.

All lanes were eventually reopened for the morning commute.

Where are all the comments from fellow drunks defending this jack hole? Why are you not complaining about the police and their supposed lies to convict drunk drivers? I'll bet you all condemn this guys action publicly, but secretly justify you own drunk driving. Many of you also complain about liqueur laws saying, "Mormons are trying to control us and our FUN! They need to leave us alone...!" Or even something like this..." Separation of church and state!!! Just because someone does not drink does not mean they are not allowed to help draft laws that protect all citizens...regardless of religion, sex, or race. STAY OFF THE ROADS IF YOU ARE DRUNK
