CORRINE, Utah (ABC 4 News) The Box Elder County Attorney's office has cleared a deputy who shot and killed a man who tried to run him over in October.

Dash camera footage obtained by the Tremonton Leader and posted on Youtube shows the deputy chasing the suspect for about six minutes. The deputy finally boxed in the suspect, Troy Burkinshaw, on a dead end street, drew his gun and yelled for the suspect to get out of his car.

The suspect tried running over the deputy, and that's when the officer fired his gun three times, killing Burkinshaw.
