SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Police detonated a suspicious package Friday evening at 32 N. State Street.
Lt. J.R. Nelson of the Salt Lake City Police Department says a briefcase with unknown contents was left outside a dentist office in the area.
"Protocol for a suspicious package like this is to have a robot ordered in to disrupt the item in question," said Nelson
The package contained books and papers, not explosives, said Nelson
