MOAB, Utah (ABC 4 News) A BASE jumper was rescued Wednesday evening after getting his parachute stuck on a rocky cliff near Moab.

Officials say the man jumped from the Millcreek Drainage, off a section called the Left-hand.

His parachute got caught on a rock and the man was left to dangle 250 feet off the ground.

The man's friends called emergency services that responded around 3:30 p.m.

It took about an hour and a half to reach the man and lower him to the ground.

Emergency services prepped the man who was taken via helicopter to Moab Regional Hospital. The man had a minor leg injury.
