BASE jumper rescued from Provo Canyon cliff

PROVO CANYON, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A BASE jumper was rescued by search crews from a Provo Canyon cliff late Monday night.
According to officials, 26-year-old Adam Gardner jumped from a ledge but got tangled while in the air and crashed into some rocks.
The incident left Gardner dangling from the face of a cliff about 150 feet above ground.
A search and rescue crew member was able to rappel down to Gardner and free him from his tangled parachute.
Rescue crews were eventually able to get Gardner down, who suffered an apparent ankle injury.
