ABC 4 transmitting on low power, expects fix by end of week

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - ABC 4 (KTVX) has been operating at low power for the last few days.

A catastrophic equipment failure has forced the station to operate at reduced power since Saturday night.

ABC 4 engineers have determined the cause of the problem and the station made a significant investment in purchasing replacement equipment which is currently being overnighted from the United Kingdom.

We expect the new equipment to be in place and operating at full power by the end of the week.

We are very sorry for the inconvenience this problem has caused.

UPDATE 11/23: We have not received the replacement equipment yet but expect for the parts to be here shortly.

Channel 30 seems weak as well. I've also noticed your web sites are having loading issues too. I prefer you over the other MAJOR LIBERAL AGENDA SITE for your news.

Hopefully you will be back soon. I'm having to watch my favorite shows on Hulu. I really hated missing the DWTS finale!!!!!!

So thats the problem. I couldn't figure out why the TiVo wasn't recording or receiving your signal. Hurry back because I hate watching NBC and CBS. (Roof top antenna here.)
