FT. DUCHESNE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Uintah County officials say a 2-year-old girl was killed in a driveway after her aunt ran over her on Thursday.
According to Uintah County, the girl was riding in her aunt's SUV when she exited the vehicle in a driveway.
Officials say the driver moved the vehicle forward, not knowing the girl had left through an open door.
The girl was rushed to a local hospital where she was later pronounced dead.
Officials say the investigation continues, but it appears that the girl's death was a tragic accident, and no charges were expected to be filed.
