SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A judge has ordered two men to stand trial for murder in the shooting death of a Salt Lake City smoke shop owner's son.
The Deseret News reports Yelfris Sosa-Hurtado has been ordered to stand trial on an aggravated murder charge, while Vladimir Suarez-Campos is set to stand trial on a murder charge.
Sosa-Hurtado is accused of fatally shooting 26-year-old Steven Chavez March 14 at CJ's Smoke Shop.
Suarez-Campos is accused of driving the getaway vehicle.
Court documents show Steven Chavez got into a physical altercation with Sosa-Hurtado at the shop after his father told Sosa-Hurtado to leave.
Authorities say Sosa-Hurtado left, then returned 20 minutes later with Suarez-Campos. They say Sosa-Hurtado entered the shop armed with a rifle and shot Steven Chavez while Suarez-Campos waited in the car.
