DELLE, Utah (AP) - One of the largest wildfires of the season in Utah has been contained after burning 43,610 acres.

U.S. Bureau of Land Management spokeswoman Cami Lee says the Dallas Canyon Fire in the Cedar Mountain Wilderness Area about 10 miles southwest of Delle was contained by Friday evening.

The lightning-caused blaze that began July 27 did not threaten any structures as it burned an unpopulated swath of grass, brush and juniper woodlands.

The fire is expected to be fully controlled by Sunday.
