WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC 4 News) A West Lake Junior High student did everything right Thursday morning when a stranger offered her a ride.
West Valley Police say the girl was walking to a class she takes at Granger High School when a car stopped near her on 3600 West and the driver offered her a ride.
She took off running to school, which is exactly what she should have done, according to officers on the scene.
Police are looking for the suspect who is described as a man in his 40's with dark wavy hair and a goatee. He was driving a silver Ford Taurus. If you witnessed anything or have any other information, please call West Valley Police.
