Washington County girl bitten by rattlesnake

WASHINGTON CITY, Utah (ABC 4) - A 9-year-old Washington city girl who was bitten by a rattle snake was in serious condition Tueday night at Primary Children's Hospital.
The girl was playing by a wood-pile in a relative's back yard over the weekend when the snake attacked.
Her dad killed the snake and took her to the hospital where she was treated with anti-venum, and then airlifted to Salt Lake City.
Authorities warned everyone to be cautious and said that this year there are a lot more rattlers in southern Utah than in recent years.
