Victim from Taco Time shooting is in stable condition

WEST JORDAN, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A woman who was shot at a Taco Time restaurant Thursday is now in stable condition.

A manager at the Taco Time restaurant tells ABC 4 that the victim, Teresa Derrington went in for surgery this morning. She is said to be in stable condition and her family is now with her.

Police say the women was shot just before closing time Thursday night after two suspects tried to force their way inside.

One of the suspects had a gun and shot through the wall hitting Derrington in the chest.

She plans on returning to work at Taco Time once she is healed at back on her feet.
