WEST VALLEY, Utah (ABC 4) - A trial date has been set for three people charged with murdering a teenager at a local golf course.

Spencer Cater, Jeremiah Williamson and Shardise Malaga pleaded not guilty in the death of Jo Jo Brandstatt.

The trial was set to start February second, which will be the one year anniversary of Brandstatt's death.

Prosecutors are waiting to see if the juvenile will be tried as an adult. If he is, the state will want the four suspects tried together.

According to prosecutors, the suspects drove Brandstatt to the West Ridge Golf Course, gave the 14-year-old a gun, who then shot Brandstatt three times, killing him.
