MONROE, Utah (ABC 4 News) - There is a family in Sevier County that needs a hand up and the South Sevier High School is trying to help.
A few years ago the Hul family's Monroe home flooded and now is covered with black mold.
To make matters worse, two of their children have very serious illnesses. Their 17-year old daughter has a brain tumor and their 13-year old son has disability that prevents affects his speech.
They have been living in a shack in the back yard without running water and basic amenities. The community has volunteered to help the family rebuild but they are trying to come up with money for materials.
The high school is hosting a dance fund raiser Friday night after the basketball game.
If you'd like to donate and help this family, you can send donations to the SSHS 'Giving it Back 2010.’
