Scooter saves woman's life after truck fails to yield

WEST JORDAN, Utah (ABC 4 News) - A scooter saved a woman's life after an early morning accident in West Jordan.
Police say a woman was traveling down 2700 West when a truck didn't yield the right of way and pulled out in front of her.
The brakes on the scooter locked up and she ended up sliding underneath.
Police say the scooter caught on the trucks tires preventing it from running over her, but she was dragged about ten feet.
The woman was air lifted to the hospital in serious condition and is expected to recover.
