SANDY, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Police in Sandy were looking for a suspect they say robbed two pharmacies within 10 minutes on Monday.

Police say just after 1:00 p.p., a man suspect entered the Walgreen’s Pharmacy located at 9426 South 700 East in Sandy, and demanded Oxycontin.

Police say the suspect did not get he drugs he wanted and left the store.

Approximately 10 minutes later police say the same man entered the pharmacy inside Harmon’s located at 7755 South 700 East in Sandy and once again the suspect demanded Oxycontin, but did not receive any and fled the store on foot.

Police described the suspect as an Asian male, 5'4", 130-140 pounds. He was last seen wearing all dark clothing including a dark blue running jacket, dark color shorts and a dark color hat.

Police say the man also wore prescription glasses and had a birth mark or other marking near his right eye.

Although no weapon was displayed at the time of the robberies, police say the suspect claimed to have a weapon during both of the robberies.

Police asked for the public's help in locating suspect, and asked anyone with information to call the Sandy City Police Tip line at # 568-4636 or dispatch at #840-4000.
