SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Salt Lake City has five new Deputy Police Chiefs working to keep the city safe.
Monday afternoon they were sworn in during a ceremony at the City County Building downtown.
Chief Chris Burbank says these changes in the command structure will improve police efficiency and response by bringing the people who make the decisions closer to the officers out on the streets.
The Salt Lake City Police Department responds to about 700,000 incidents every single year.
