RIVERTON (ABC 4 News) – Riverton opened their new Primary Children’s Hospital Tuesday equipped with the first satellite outpatient facility in Utah.
A ribbon cutting ceremony celebrated the grand opening Tuesday.
The facility will be a full service community hospital serving the communities in the southwest Salt Lake valley. The population in the valley is expected to grow by 33 percent by 2015.
The hospital will operate a satellite outpatient facility, the first of it’s kind for Utah.
