SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Several animal advocate groups have pooled together to offer a big reward to solve an eagle cruelty case in southern Utah.
The eagle was found on the side of the road near Delta. All of its tail feathers had been ripped out.
The U.S. Humane Society and the Humane Society Wildlife Land Trust are now offering $2,500 to anyone with information about the person responsible for the abuse.
A veterinarian at the Southwest Wildlife Foundation noticed the golden eagle's feathers had been plucked out. This may have cause potential disabling to the eagle for the rest of its life.
