You've apparently forgotten it was the 'Rs' who passed the first *humongous* stimulus bill. It was the 'Rs' who sat on their hands as the economy slid into the toilet...thus necessitating/spawning the humongous stimulus bill. Unless you're in complete denial you must admit that Obama has inherited a government fighting two wars...one of them unnecessarily IMO, a health care industry run amok and rapidly becoming unaffordable for even the middle class (thanks in large part to Nixon...yet another 'R'...read your history)....and an economy in shambles. Cheney, yet another 'R' essentially *shelved* the Constitution for 8 years, tortures...and lies about it.....conceals intelligence information from Congress....basically doing everything in his power to increase his power and that of the President, while concurrently doing everything he can do to conceal his actions and insulate the administration from scrutiny *and* the rule of law.
