SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Police thought they caught their suspects, but it turns out they were just witnesses to the crime.
A clerk at a Hispanic check cashing store located at 55 north Redwood Road in Salt Lake City was on the phone with a friend when two armed men walked into the store.
They demanded she drop the phone, and she did, but she didn't hang up. Her friend heard the whole thing and called 911.
Police thought they found the two robbers in Bountiful, but it turns out they were the wrong guys.
