SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - New numbers came out Thursday showing how many Utahns are out of work in these tough times.
The unemployment rate increased to 6.5% in October. That means 88,900 Utahns were looking for work.
The unemployment rate in October of 2008 was 3.5%. But, Utah is still doing better than the rest of the country. The national unemployment rate in October was 10.2%.
