SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) – A women’s soccer player who pulled a BYU player down by her ponytail is speaking out for the first time.
Lambert told the New York Times she regrets what she did and “will always regret it.” She also says she doesn’t recognize herself on the video saying, “I look at it and I’m like, ‘That is not me,’ ”
But Lambert says some of the plays were taken out of context and that both sides were playing rough.
Lambert says she's now seeing a psychologist on campus and is talking to children about aggressive play.
