I am actually Lillian's cousin and I 100% agree with her. I have lost over 100lbs in the past year and the number one thing that helped me do it was that I was in the right mind set and I loved myself. I was happy bigger and now I am also happy thin. The bottom line is that you need to love yourself and not be concerned about the numbers on the scale or that numbers on the pants. Just be healthy and the rest will fall into place.

Great to hear this being discussed. There is a large Health at Every Size (HAES) movement happening, that supports everyone in developing good health habits rather than focusing on weight. You can show your support and get more information at the (free) Health at Every Size Community Resources (www.HAESCommunity.org). More information is also available at the HAES professional organization, Association for Size Diversity and Health (www.sizediversityandhealth.org).
