SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - Energy drinks are becoming more and more popular, but Utah police are issuing DUIs to those who drink too much.

The ten billion dollar industry has a new brand appearing every day and more brands, means more consumption.

If energy drinks are not consumed responsibly, you could actually end up behind bars, or even in a hospital bed.

Are you serious this is a joke. The police just trying to come up with more ways to give fines and make money. This is sold to minors, and can be purchased in schools. What are police thinking. Protect and serve or give fines for stupid things like this and waste tax payers money on in forcing these meaningless law. Ridiculous

What an inane story. Please explain. Driving under the influence of what? And if it's not a controlled substance or alcohol, how is an arrest justified? Or is this all part of the new governor's regieme?
