IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (AP) - A business group says it expects to receive enough federal stimulus money to pay for a study examining a possible transportation network using public and private carriers that would help travelers in Idaho, Utah, Wyoming and Montana.
The Yellowstone Business Partnership says it wants to examine forming a Regional Transportation Initiative in areas surrounding Yellowstone National Park.
The group advocates sustainable economic development and says stimulus money could be used to conduct a feasibility study and pilot program.
The group says the plan could make travel and finding someplace to stay easier for vacationers as well as those on business trips.
