PAYSON, Utah (ABC 4 News) - Eight months following a horrific murder in Utah County, Sheriff's officials have made two arrests.
Officers say Roger Mortensen and his wife, Pamela, were booked into jail Thursday evening in connection with the murder of Former BYU Professor Kay Mortensen. They were both named "persons of interest" in January.
Kay Mortensen was found murdered in his Payson home in November. Police say Kay's son, Roger and his wife called 911, claiming that three men had invaded the home and tied them up. The two remained at the forefront of the investigation because of inconsistencies with their story.
