Thank you Channel 4 News for doing this story and spreading the word about Utah Guns and OPSGEAR and their work to defend our 2nd Amendment.

This is Great! Utah Guns has been an awesome organization since started just a few weeks ago. It has filled a major need in personal firearms classifieds that were lost when KSL stopped allowing firearms to be listed. The giveaways have been a nice way to show support for our rights.

Gun control does not work, this infringement on our rights is folly, it is what tyrant's do, corrupt King's and Emperor's, dictators going back thousands of years, disarmament to oppress the people, and criminals will still have their guns, regardless if law abiding citizens have theirs or not, and crazy people that want to go kill kids or what have you, will get the job done regardless of the hardware, it's really easy to go make a pipe bomb, just a short trip to home depot and Wal mart. Killers will kill, anyway they can. Not to mention the effect this will have on our economy, the jobs that will be taken away, the businesses ruined. There are other matters that need attention in this country, far more pressing than taking away an AR 15 which is no more dangerous than grandpa's rifle. One second to reload a magazine, one second, that's it. Don't punish everyone for one man's Malevolence, that is not the right way, and it will accomplish nothing accept further amuse Obama's prevalent but hidden agenda, and don't call me a Republican or a democrat, because i don't turn left or right, i ride right down the damn middle, i choose my path, not follow others. I see the good and bad in all people, all factions. Thank you.

Way to go Utah Guns! I believe in our 2nd amendment as well! Those that do not know history, or forget it, are doomed to repeat it!

That was not the only reason the second amendment was created... Te founding fathers wanted the citizens to be able to have this right in case the government became corrupt and stated taking our freedoms and so we could rise up and defend our freedoms. Teerevor, you obviously need to have a little bit more education in this area... Also assault rifles are already banned!! Assault rifles are considered to be a rifle with the full automatic ... Semi automatics are not assault rifles , there is a major difference in how many rounds can be fired between those two terms and like I stated before assault rifles are already banned where only those with special permits or the military may have them

"We don't need assault rifles. I'm fine with people carrying pistols " Now that's funny... Since of the 8,583 people killed last year by gun violence, only 323 were killed by rifles (of which the AR-15 is a subset). Gun laws do nothing but give criminals an advantage.

At least there some business out in the U.S. who are not going to just roll over and let the feds get away with unlawful actions and by having a shotgun giveaway, it is one of the best ideas yet. What better way to help protect the 2d Amendment than to give a lawful hunting shotgun to a law abiding citizen.

"Gun Toters" are the ones fighting for their lives in Syria. They were the ones who fought against Great Britain when they WERE our government and before they were our enemy. From someone who has travelled and lived outside of our country as both a civilian and a soldier, and witnessed revolutions first hand, I suggest your crack a history book before posting something with such ignorance.

Wow... Ignorance kills. Just as Bashar al-Assad would have stated himself. This "Great Britain" enemy you speak of WAS our government. They only became the enemy when we rose up in arms.
