SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) - The multibillion dollar struggle over control of the U.S. smartphone market is now in the hands of nine Silicon Valley residents

The jurors who presided over the epic three-week patent trial between Apple Corp. and Samsung Electronics Co. began deliberating Wednesday.

Apple is demanding Samsung pay it $2.5 billion for allegedly stealing the design technology of the iPad and iPhone to create illegal knockoffs. Samsung counters that Apple stole its technology and is demanding $399 million.
