ALSO...!!! Just an FYI due to the report by ABC stating that Jerry Campbell is a Manager at the apartments... That is NOT CORRECT. Jerry is not Management, he is the maintenance staff... He has nothing to do with the office besides getting Repair orders for tenets apartments to fix things and upkeep the grounds. Today ABC tried to get the office people on camera and they shut the door on there face after they said they would not turn off the camera. They are acting shady.. If they feel they are doing nothing wrong why are they hiding...? Hmmm... Makes you wonder...

What the apartments are doing is RIDICULES...!!! Remington and College Terrace goes threw the SAME office. On there notices they left on the doors yesterday it said that you needed to come in or call them, however most of the time when you call them they NEVER answer. They are honorable at getting back to people, if you leave them a message they never get back to you. some of us don't have time to go in and wait in there LONG lines to talk to them because we go to school and have work. They are not only booting cars and doing nothing for the people that live there but they are also posting fees that are illegal. I myself went in to talk to them and asked them where it says they can do what they are doing, they could not answer me. they pretty much tried to answer by rambling but yet saying nothing. They are saying people are paying rent late when there not, they are adding fees when agreements were made before hand, they are putting fees on top of fees owed due to owing the fees, they are giving fees to people that have only been living there for a couple weeks... EVERYTHING is out of control. I asked how to get a hold of someone above them and they would only give me an E-mail address that does NOT get back to you. I myself think that if we are paying rent and have an issue we should be able to talk to the property manger! not just the secretaries that don't answer questions and just make you mad. I also talked to the Legal Advocates at UVU and they said they have had ALLOT of people coming in complaining about them for all sorts of thing and not just the booting issue. SOMETHING REALLY NEEDS TO BE DONE. However, the Advocates at the school gave me a list of law offices to contact and i definitely will be making calls. OR if your a lawyer and wanna jump on the case E-mail me your information and i will definitely make sure to contact you as well as pass your information on to other tenets that are having concerns as well. My E-mail is 10565831@uvlink.uvu.edu Thanks

My daughter lives in College Terrace which is owned by the same rental company and they are trying to force her to pay fees that she doesn't owe. They are charging her rental late fees that she doesn't owe and tell her they are addding $5.00 per day until they are paid or it goes to collections. They won't listen to her and won't give her a number that we can call and talk to. They say it has to be done by email. What are they trying to hide that we can't talk to a real person? Any lawyers out there that care to help these poor college students from being taken advantage of?

I live at Remington right now. They booted my car. The management won't even listen to what they've done wrong. I never received any notice from them no matter what they say. why didn't they post the notice on our apartments? why did they put the notice on our cars at a time when many of us were at work? Why didn't they use the information that they forced us to give when we moved in and make a checklist of the cars of those who have parking permits at the complex and make sure that all of us got a notice? they set it up so that they could shirk responsibility as well as dishonestly take money away from the tenants. Remington is dishonest and the manager quoted in the story should be ashamed of himself.

I live at remington and was booted along with many others. I cannot afford these fines. would you please let me know if there has been anything that can be done about this. The management says that they gave plenty of notice but what about those who work all day like me from 5 AM to 10 pm who never received notice. I believe this is dishonest. why didn't they post the notices on the doors of the apartments where all residents could find them as they do everything else. they never post these kinds of things on cars. Why didn't they do a check list of all cars that they have on record in the office so they could account for the cars of all tenants who are currently living there who are registered with them. This is a lazy and dishonest act on the part of remington.

Booting needs to be more strictly enforced!! Now before you get all mad and bent out of shape!! Booters need to be more strictly guided in the way they are allowed to boot!! I would be putting together a formal complaint involving the complex and the towing company for not doing their jobs honestly!! My rear-end they were given plenty of warning!!! 30 cars getting booted sure doesn't show good warning to me you self-righteous jack!! Do you remember what it was like in college or were to good to go to college so now you are the manager of an apartment complex!! Hmmm let's see!! you're a moron!! sorry the truth hurts sometimes!! I got booted when i lived in provo and it was a situation of "double parking" where i was parked between two cars that supposedly weren't double parked but my car was!! hmm that is just messed up!! one inch either way and i wouldn't have been booted!! that is a bunch of bull!! stop getting rich off of trying to find any way possible to screw us!! your job is important but only when it is executed correctly!! now get off your high horse and do something grown up for once!!

I have lived at Remington for less than a month and have found NOTHING but headaches. My apt is missing a couch and I was promise one from management over 2 weeks ago. Also, management was supposed to set up to have extra mattresses removed and yet they are still sitting in the living room, waiting to be removed. I also had my car booted less than a week after I moved in and management told me they "couldn't do anything about it." I am extremely disappointed and feel lied to by management at Remington. I would never tell anyone to live here, it's a joke.
