SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 News) - We're taking action to find out what's happening with the pond in Liberty Park. It was contaminated in the first Chevron oil spill last year.

Chevron tells us the clean up has been completed but they're going to build a concrete barrier around the pond. It's in the bidding process now.

The pond is scheduled to be refilled and open by April 1st.

Yes, and how long now before our fowl feathered friends the ducks reassert their dominant position back within Liberty Park pond again with a sense of homely to a place they usually call home, now not to gripe and groan but were shown where to get goin thanks to an overflowin pipe that burst and was blowin a black mess that was a distress them our feathered friend, causing this south flying and sometimes oven frying bird of few words to dispurse.
