Did you know that soap in a nice thin little cardboard box is environmentally friendly. Why because the soap when you use it degrades into almost nothing as does the thin cardboard box it comes in should it manage to make it to a landfill, street corner or wherever. If communities had garbage processing plants to separate the recyclable material before it hits the landfill our piece of soaps little cardboard container would not have to worry about being misplaced somewhere else other than a landfill where it could be reused or recycled instead of just thrown out and left to degrade or disappear which was the intention of the seller knowing that there would be waste product in selling their product in the first place. So next time you buy a green product that comes in a plastic container you might want to think about where exactly that plastic container will end up someday.
