Just to let you know, the caption under the picture of the dump truck ("Uncovered load") is incorrect. When the bar is towards the back of the bed of the truck, the load is covered. Editor, look closely and you can see the tarp over the load. Start doing your research!

About a year ago a rock came out of a Kilgore Truck and damaged my hood and scratched my windshield. I was able to get the Number on the truck along with the license plate. I called the police to file a report but was not able to stay at the scene because my 7 year old son had the stomach flu and was in the back of the car. The officer agreed that it was Kilgore's fault. I contacted the company and provided pictures along with the license plate and truck number. I also described where the truck was at the time and what direction he was traveling. After several of my attempts Kilgore denied the claim and said "show me the rock that fell out and we will think about it". By this time weeks had passed. At the time of the incident, I was not about to get out of my car in traffic to locate the rock and the thought had not even occurred to me. I went to my insurance company and they could not do anything to help with Kilgore without filing a claim and increasing my premium. In my opinion, Kilgore is not only breaking the law, they are threatening the lives of those on the road and don't care. The rock startled me and if I could have lost control of my car causing injury or loss of life. For now, if I see a dump truck on the road, I do everything to avoid it. Be careful out there.
