GETTING RESULTS: Crews clean up weeds at the old Cottonwood Mall

ABC 4 contacted property managers after neighbors asked us to help get rid of the eyesore: weeds growing several feet tall. B

"New trees that we've planted along the street are new, and the fencing set back from that," said Kris Longson from General Growth Properties, the company overseeing the project. "So it's a lot cleaner condition now that we're finished up with this work."

Managers say they bulldozed and graded the land to flatten out the area, and of course mowed down the weeds. They say they've also planted winter wheat there, to provide some greenery.
