"ABC4 NEWS then contacted the city's engineer who was unaware that the city needed to submit a request." Outrageous. Malignant *INCOMPETENCE* in every nook and cranny of our society. We are all doomed.

I live near Adams Ave up the street from this intersection. I've almost been hit trying to cross the road to make it to the bus stop. I am disabled too. Me and members of my family nearly have hit people trying to turn left or right onto Washington Blvd. Recently my 17 year old daughter almost hit someone in the median at night trying to turn left onto 650 North. In the meantime before any study starts there needs to have additional street lights to prevent any further accidents. I'm sure that over 90% of the accidents happen at night. We hear the sirens at night and wonders who's been hit this time at the intersrction. There needs to be another traffic light installed. How can anyone in a wheel chair ride them; when there is NOT a sidewalk for half a block heading south on the east side of the street?? Thanks! Stan Jensen
