Police invite media to Susan Powell search in Nevada

ELY, Nev. (ABC 4 News) - West Valley City Police spokesman Sgt. Mike Powell announced that investigators would be searching in the wilderness near Ely, Nevada for evidence related to the disappearance of Susan Powell.

Sgt. Powell also invited members of the media to tag along during the search.

Powell refused to elaborate on the source, nature, or any specifics on the new information that led investigators to Ely.

They are curreantly searching mine shafts just west of town. About a month ago the local sheriff's office and fire department had to rescue a dog out of one of the shafts around here. Did the dog maybe come out of the shaft with remains or were saw bythe rescue team??? Makes you wonder if the dog lead to the tip your police department is following.

So what is going on??? After Sgt Powell went to change there is no more news to view. Are they not going to allow us to view the search as it is happening. Come on. Is there a site we can got to to follow this live?
