How dare this evil piece of crap Steven Powell....go on national TV and soil the precious name & reputation of Susan Cox, when He & his twisted, sick, deranged son slaughtered her and still had her innocent blood dripping on their filthy hands while selling their stories suggesting in media interviews that Susan was somehow “immoral“ or “mentally imbalanced“ and supposedly “ran away with another man“ when all along you knew the truth, that you & your slimy son killed her. And if going to every media outlet available would help me find a missing loved one or solve a case then so be it I would be going there too! He deserved every minute of airtime and if Susan had run away (like scumbag insinuated) then more media attention would be the only way to get her recognized anyway and he(scumbag) should have been all for getting her face out there without trying to smear her character so that someone might recognize her. Mr. Hunsaker I appreciate you being so careful to not go into some details.I agree that we need to know why Charlie and Braden were put in control of Josh a POI in Susans disappearence as well as the red flags.To let him have full control of the enviroment Charlie and Braden feared and ended up getting murdered.We need to make something good come out of this nightmare of a situation ie;Charlies and Bradens Law supervised visits need to happen in a neutral place to give more protection to children so this nightmare does not happen to another child or family.Thank You for your efforts to be considerate in your reporting and bringing forth the questions WHY?

I belive there could of been more done. Why wasnt there a officer with them just in case things went bad? Sending a older lady in that now has to second guess herself and living with what had happen, Even though she did what she could. I feel for her she was put in a danger. Things could of been a lot better if a armed officer was ther to kick the door in and face what was going on, Even tho it mit not of stoped what was going on but who knows? Its clear these children where at risk and should of been treat as so. Why wasnt there a meeting place set up to over see these vists? I too am concerned about why these two sweet boys were still in the presence of their unstable father. And the information and when the information was found can let us know why they still were with him. I know we need to make changes in child visitation for protection of our children. I have seen too many situations like this that are ignored because our court system seems to ignore the bigger picture of the childs safety to have the parent still involved in the childs life. Sometimes that should not happen because the parent is not stable. Brent, I listen to various news channels and I agree with you. You handled the report carefully, giving some information but not as much as other stations. I feel It was careful for such a tough subject. We need to change our legal system to protect the children. Look at this latest situation with the mother who has just kidnapped her childern and now we have an Amber Alert. She should not have had her children given her behaviors. If we can change the laws to protect children because of what is learned from the Powell boys, I would be so happy. This same type of situation happened with my niece and her daughter and the ex. Now, no one can find him or my grand niece and it too could and should have been prevented. Children need to be protected and that is not happening in the court system. It isnt pleasant knowing what the authorities knew, but someone knew enough to protect those boys. Good reporting Brent!.
