Pedestrian struck in Tooele on dark road

TOOELE, Utah (ABC 4 News) A 54 year old homeless man was struck by a vehicle Tuesday night in Tooele. The man was crossing a the unlit intersection of SR 36 and Saddleback near Lake Point when he was side struck by an oncoming vehicle. Medical units responded at about 7:20 p.m.
It is reported that the driver did not see man due to the lack of street lights. A medical helicopter took the man to Intermountain Healthcare. The driver is not being charged.
