Glenn Willey-Long Weekend Snow

President's Day weekend is here and the weather looks to have a little something for everyone. Friday and Saturday will be pleasant with temperatures at and above average and plenty of sunshine. Sunday and Monday we expect snow and for some, lots of snow!

The long weekend will no doubt make for some busy days at our ski resorts. Generally speaking, snowfall along the lines of 1 to 2 feet in the mountains looks like a safe bet for now. The Salt Lake Valley won't miss out on the snow either. To make an early guess, I'll go with 4-6" in the Valley from Sunday morning through Monday.

Keep all this in mind for your Holiday weekend travel plans. Snow will likely impact much of Utah Sunday and Monday. Of course we'll keep you posted on ABC4 through the weekend. Snow is a good thing and with so many folks coming to ski this weekend Mother Nature couldn't have served up a little winter weather at a better time.
