Believe it or not, there are Registered Sex Offenders everywhere. You could easily be shopping in Wal-Mart and reach for the same jar of peanutbutter as a Sex Offender and not even know it. Our job as parents is to keep our children safe, be aware of our surroundings, and teach them right from wrong. This article actually angers me a little. The sex offender part of the story, pulled some heat away from this mother. This child was not assaulted in any way. This child was a victim of neglect by that mother. Considering there were that many S.O.'s in that area, probably means there are other convicted felons in the same area. So how many murderers, burglars, and other felons were living in that area as well?

parents do this regularly. Then they get mad because when a child goes into State custody, they have to pay the state and lose government monies they have been getting by having children in their home. The State/courts make them clean up, get assessments, stable housing and employment to get their children back....ahhh gee gosh darn, they have to get a job, be clean and sober and have stable and safe living conditions to have their children back in their custody....wish there was a way to make sure BEFORE you have children, you are stable enough to raise them safely. Not that a family comes on hard times - not talking about those situations, it's the welfare state type of people...money talks and when you take their children away which means their source of income, people get ANGRY and it's all the State's fault!!!! Right, DCFS and courts made them do drugs, go out to bars, leave their kids alone while they deal - right....and don't even get me started on those who sell their 'food stamp cards' so they can purchase their drugs/alcohol/cigs etc. These kids deserve better and that is the reason we should be drug testing everyone on public assistance - so many out there abusing the system - those who really deserve the assistance because of the hard times we are facing, I am really sorry you have to be put in the same box as those who abuse the system..it's a small price innocent people will have to pay for the temporary help they need now..those who make it a living to live off the backs of those who work, get off your butts. There are warnings all over in National Parks 'don't feed the animals' - why?, because they will not learn how to feed themselves - same for those on continuous government assistance. If it is good enough for wild animals, then it is great for humans - learn how to support yourselves and you will feel better about yourself and will project a positive role model for your children.

the actions of this so call mother are not the only ones I can tell you about people stories just like this one where the so call mother will leave the child or children alone ,just so she can go out to a Bar and get some..I think that, this women don't deserve the honor to be call MOTHERS,couse they are not,the thing that really bothers me is the fact, the the neighbors who live around this kind os people know about it and they never say nothing, maybe thinking that if they look the other way it will go away..our kids deserve all of our attention, and all of our sacrifices and all of our time so they can grow up been normal, and be self sufficients, and able to take care of their own,it is sad to see that this is not happening, and this women all they do is have kids and pretent they don't have them..so they can go and be on public assistance from the state, shame on you women who do just that.
